About the role#
As a Business Development Intern, you will support our go-to-market efforts within the civil engineering space. This hands-on, client-facing role is designed for students pursuing a degree in Business Administration or Civil Engineering. You will work closely with senior team members to learn how our data is positioned, pitched, and sold into real engineering workflows.
What you'll do#
- Research and identify firms that align with Ecopia’s data offerings.
- Support outbound outreach efforts through email, calls, and LinkedIn.
- Help initiate conversations with engineering firms and qualify early interest.
- Maintain accurate lead and activity tracking.
- Sit in on sales and discovery calls to understand customer needs and use cases.
- Help refine messaging tailored to civil engineering applications.
What you'll need#
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You are organized and self-motivated.
- You are comfortable with outreach, follow-ups, and relationship building.
