As a Business Development Intern, you will work directly with leadership and the sales team to support outbound sales, partnerships, and revenue expansion. This role provides hands-on exposure to how a high-growth agency acquires, qualifies, and closes clients. You will be embedded in real deals and gain experience in the end-to-end sales process.
What you'll do#
- Research and identify potential clients across tech, mobile, and consumer brands.
- Build and maintain prospect lists using tools such as LinkedIn, Apollo, and HubSpot.
- Support outbound outreach efforts through email, LinkedIn, and warm intros.
- Prepare pitch decks, proposals, and sales materials.
- Track leads, pipeline status, and deal notes in CRM tools.
- Sit in on sales calls and client meetings to observe discovery, positioning, and closing.
- Support partnerships, referrals, and special growth initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and basic analysis.
- Curiosity about startups, marketing, sales, and entrepreneurship.
- A proactive, reliable, and self-starter mindset.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Prior experience in sales, marketing, consulting, or startups is preferred, as is familiarity with paid social or digital marketing.
