    About the role#

    Eaton is looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern or Co-op to join the Energy Transition Team. This position focuses on the design and development of home energy management systems and vehicle-to-home power management products. You will work with a team of engineers to move products from initial concept through to manufacturing launch.

    What you'll do#

    • Design analog and digital circuits, including power supplies and microprocessor support circuits.
    • Research new methods to solve technical problems and select electronic components.
    • Create PCBA hardware, build and debug prototypes, and run proof of concept tests.
    • Improve existing products based on new technology evaluations.
    • Collaborate with international teams to research, develop, and test new innovations.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Electrical or Computer Engineering.
    • Graduation date no later than August 2029.
    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
    • Ability to work on-site in Moon Township, PA, as you must live within 50 miles of the facility.
    • Please note that Eaton does not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.

    • Location: Moon Township, Pennsylvania.
    • Term: Summer 2027 or rotational co-op.
    • Work modality: On-site, full-time.
    • Compensation: $22.15 to $27.69 per hour.
