About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Product Architecture and Standards team for the Summer 2027 term. This role offers hands-on experience with electrical systems, engineering standards, and new product development. You will help maintain the Product Architecture Playbook by capturing best practices and technical requirements to improve consistency across our IT infrastructure portfolio.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and improvement of the Product Architecture Playbook.
- Document electrical engineering best practices, technical standards, and lessons learned from development projects.
- Work with engineers across different business units to gather feedback and identify opportunities for standardization.
- Assist in reviews of electrical architectures and system designs to ensure they meet engineering guidelines.
- Conduct technical research on industry standards, power distribution, and emerging technologies.
- Create engineering documentation, presentations, and technical reports.
- Participate in design reviews to support future product development programs.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, or system integration principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with electrical design or analysis software is a plus.
