About the role#
We are hiring a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to support conveyor design projects. You will work across the entire design lifecycle, from initial technical assistance for sales to final assembly support and issue resolution. This role involves both office-based design work and hands-on time in the production environment.
What you'll do#
- Create 3D assembly and part models for new and existing products.
- Produce manufacturing detail drawings and exploded views.
- Manage Bill of Material entry and revisions.
- Update manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Assemble test conveyors for prototyping, application validation, and data collection.
- Perform tolerance stack-ups and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Create and revise OEM spec sheets.
- Follow established procedures and work instructions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BSME or BSMET degree at an accredited college or university.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, specifically Solidworks.
- Ability to work in both office and production settings.
- Strong written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
