About the role#
Nordson Corporation is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a full-time, paid, on-site position in East Providence, Rhode Island. This is a rolling internship program.
What you'll do#
- Support product development by conducting tests and analyzing data.
- Create CAD models and detailed technical drawings.
- Design and construct test fixtures.
- Document design specifications and test results.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D design and drafting.
- Exposure to mechanical design theories, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- A team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in East Providence, Rhode Island.
- The position requires working in both office and lab environments.
