About the role#
The Mary Pappert School of Music is hiring an Event & Facility Operations Assistant for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms. This is a paid, on-site position. You will support daily operations and events, working either independently or as part of a team. Shifts typically last 3 to 6 hours.
What you'll do#
- Unlock and lock facility rooms.
- Set up for concerts and recitals.
- Provide front of house and ushering support.
- Work alongside AV Technicians during events.
- Keep shared spaces organized.
What you'll need#
- Eligibility for the work-study program.
- Availability to work during evenings and weekends.
- Enrollment in Media Studies, Art, or Communications majors.
Location & details#
- Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- On-site work modality.
- Training is provided for all new hires.
