About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in talent management and the influencer marketing industry. You will support the team in building careers for digital creators, athletes, and models while learning the operational side of a full-service talent agency.
What you'll do#
- Scout and onboard new talent by scheduling introductory calls and managing necessary forms.
- Maintain accurate and current sales and talent pipelines.
- Coordinate schedules and manage calendars and meetings.
- Support client and brand outreach efforts, including joining calls and managing follow-ups.
- Assist with sponsorships and deals, including contract negotiation, invoicing, and creating sales folders.
- Liaise with the accounting department to ensure timely payments.
- Participate in business development meetings and monitor industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
What you'll need#
- A recent Bachelor’s degree in PR, marketing, business, communications, psychology, or public health.
- Relevant internship experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- A good eye for talent recruitment, including the ability to assess quality, authenticity, and influence.
- Knowledge of and interest in social media marketing, public relations, collaborations, and sponsorships.
- Excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic.
Location & details#
- Location: Ontario, Canada.
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Full-time (30-40 hours per week) for a 16-week duration.
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, with a $500 stipend provided upon successful completion of the program.
