Treasury and Cash Collection Intern

About the role#

This internship focuses on Treasury and Cash Collection within the finance department. The role is split between cash collection (90%) and cash management (10%), with treasury tasks introduced as you gain familiarity with company processes and the business environment. You will work closely with clients, Sales, and Finance teams to manage payments and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

What you'll do#

• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with clients via email and phone.
• Help resolve payment issues and disputes.
• Prepare aging reports and analyze overdue accounts.
• Reconcile old accounts and identify discrepancies.
• Keep accurate records of collection actions and support escalations.
• Support cash reporting, bank reconciliations, and cash allocation.
• Contribute to process improvement, automation, and AI-related projects.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing studies in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English.
• Organized, rigorous, and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to learn quickly.
• Comfortable engaging with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to engage in direct conversations or address confrontations when necessary.
• Interest in AI, automation, and optimizing workflows.
