About the role#
The Engineering Design Associate supports the engineering and construction planning process. This position focuses on data entry for work management systems and design tools while assisting designers with daily tasks. You will contribute to project safety, reliability, and cost management efforts.
What you'll do#
- Enter data into work management systems and design tools.
- Provide general support to designers during engineering and construction planning.
- Deliver accurate and timely results to support safety and reliability.
- Assist with cost management and maintain quality customer service.
- Demonstrate flexibility and dependability during storm events.
What you'll need#
- Previous internship or co-op experience at Duke Energy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to use computer-based work management systems.
- Ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
