About the role#
This is an Associate Business Development Manager position designed for individuals transitioning from a previous Duke Energy internship or co-op. You will handle wholesale and renewable business transactions within a specific jurisdiction. You will work under supervision as you build your knowledge of business development protocols and gain independence in your tasks.
What you'll do#
- Execute wholesale and renewable business transactions.
- Manage tasks related to capacity, energy transactions, and generation assets.
- Develop skills in business development protocols and company tariffs.
- Perform utility site visits to support project work.
What you'll need#
- Previous internship or co-op experience at Duke Energy.
- A degree or progress toward a degree in Business Administration or Economics.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Project management, problem solving, and implementation abilities.
Location & details#
- Location: Raleigh, North Carolina.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time.
- Travel: 5-15% of the time.
