About the role#
This is a hands-on internship for Summer 2027 based in Delano, Minnesota. You will report to the on-site Project Superintendent and gain experience across various aspects of golf course construction. Please note that project locations vary and may require you to travel or relocate out of state.
What you'll do#
- Shadow Project Superintendents, Estimators, Project Managers, and the General Manager.
- Work with laborers on golf course construction tasks.
- Manage small crews and assist with scheduling and critical path timelines.
- Participate in construction meetings with owners, architects, and engineers.
- Handle as-built plans, plan reading, and surveying.
- Document daily activities and conduct project safety checks.
- Perform estimating and quantity takeoffs.
What you'll need#
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended hours.
- Capacity to lift objects weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stretch, and sit as required by the site.
- Willingness to travel and work on Saturdays.
- Commitment to following all safety regulations and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.
