About the role#
DuBois Chemicals is hiring for a Pulp & Paper Co-op for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site at paper mill locations in Maine, Alabama, or Minnesota. This is a full-time, paid position where you will partner with our support team to gain experience as a chemical supplier for the paper industry.
What you'll do#
- Monitor critical process parameters and conduct lab studies to improve mill operations.
- Analyze data and develop new test procedures, processes, and tools to increase efficiency.
- Learn the mill production process and document key technical information.
- Gain expertise in chemical applications and assess their impact at the site.
- Prepare service reports, case studies, customer reviews, and trial updates.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two semesters of engineering studies with a paper science minor.
- Eligibility for employment in the United States.
- A strong commitment to delivering service to customers.
- A desire to expand your technical knowledge and grow in the role.
