About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern at Dragonfly Health, you will gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting while supporting our hospice and post-acute care services. This role involves managing patient data, coordinating with hospice partners, and assisting with pharmacy operations. You will be an active member of our team, contributing to projects and ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient records, including new admissions, demographic updates, and prescription refills.
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls, providing timely and professional assistance to callers.
- Collaborate with team members on various clinical and pharmacy-related projects.
- Deliver service to hospice partners by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Assist local pharmacy sites with claims adjudication and fulfillment operations.
- Complete required skill-based training to maintain compliance and professional development.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a school of pharmacy.
- Valid registration with the board of pharmacy for your state of residence.
- Previous pharmacy experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency with Windows-based computers and Microsoft applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
