About the role#
As an Articling Student at DMCL, you will work closely with managers, senior managers, and partners on a variety of client engagements. This role provides exposure to diverse industries, including mining, health sciences, manufacturing, and not-for-profits. You will gain hands-on experience in audit and private enterprise while receiving mentorship to support your CPA designation path.
What you'll do#
- Prepare accurate tax returns, working papers, and various accounting assignments.
- Deliver assurance engagements to provide clients with financial clarity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships by communicating with clients and third parties to gather necessary information.
- Support clients with financial information and help them navigate business and personal finances.
What you'll need#
- An undergraduate degree with a focus in accounting.
- Completion of all required prerequisites for entry into the CPA program before the start date.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including a solid working knowledge of Excel.
