About the role#
As an intern at Discovery Education, you will complete project assignments designed to provide growth and exposure within the organization. You will be paired with a mentor to guide your work. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Perform social listening, identify trends, and engage with community members across social channels.
- Track and report key performance indicators for social media and Employee Advocacy.
- Curate content for Employee Advocacy and write copy for company-wide use.
- Partner with your mentor to research and develop on-trend social media content.
- Draft and edit blog posts, email newsletters, and landing pages.
- Collaborate with the corporate team to generate content ideas.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for content revisions and work with the design team to update collateral.
What you'll need#
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Experience with social media tools and best practices.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Ability to research and translate findings into content ideas.
- Legal right to work in the United States.
- Basic math proficiency.
- Flexibility and comfort with ambiguity.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- This role is based on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- The internship term operates on a rolling basis.
