The Research team is seeking an intern to support legal tracking, case documentation, and policy research. Interns are embedded directly into the team to gain professional experience through hands-on projects, mentorship, and regular feedback.
What you'll do#
- Draft and update case pages for active and ongoing litigation.
- Track lawsuits and maintain accurate records of case developments.
- Provide timely legal updates to the research team.
- Conduct legal and policy research as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or law student.
- A strong interest in law, democracy, and politics.
- Excellent research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Relevant academic background in Political Science, Public Health, Philosophy, Communications, or Journalism.
Location & details#
- Location: Washington, District of Columbia (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 15 – December 11).
- Schedule: Part-time, 15–20 hours per week.
- Requirements: Must be able to commute to the DC office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Compensation: $20/hour.
