About the role#
This internship offers an introduction to the audit profession. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience and insight into the daily responsibilities of an auditor. Throughout the program, you will receive guidance from a coach, participate in networking activities, and receive feedback on your performance. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes.
- Apply risk assessment concepts and perform audit procedures to address identified risks.
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls for financial reporting.
- Analyze financial information and documentation to identify trends or issues.
- Prepare accurate and organized audit documentation that meets professional standards.
- Collaborate with client personnel and engagement teams to gather information and resolve questions.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Plans to meet the educational requirements for CPA licensure.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- This role is a hybrid position.
- You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office.
- You should expect to co-locate on average 3 times a week, with potential travel up to 50% depending on client needs.
