About the role#
As an HR Undergraduate Intern, you will work on projects that connect human resources strategy with data, technology, and business impact. You will spend the summer immersed in people analytics, AI-enabled talent strategies, and workforce data storytelling. This position offers hands-on experience supporting HR initiatives and developing foundational professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Own and drive key HR priorities related to your specific projects.
- Use data analysis and storytelling to surface workflow insights and inform decisions.
- Participate in human-centered design thinking to improve the employee experience.
- Explore and integrate AI tools into HR workflows while evaluating their effectiveness and ethical application.
- Build strategic partnerships across the business and apply change management principles.
- Present your recommendations and results to HR leadership.
- Engage in learning and development sessions, mentorship, and professional networking.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for MIS, Business Analytics, I/O Psychology, Human Resources, Data Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Interest in HR, people analytics, or workforce technology demonstrated through coursework, projects, or research.
- Data literacy, including proficiency in Excel and the ability to identify trends.
- Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and a strong drive for results.
- Ability to solve problems and navigate ambiguity.
- Experience with data analytics, visualization tools, or HR systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude through coursework or projects.
- Academic or project background in organizational behavior, workforce planning, or research methods.
