About the role#
Delaware Valley University is hiring a student worker for the IT Help Desk. This position supports campus operations by maintaining computer equipment and assisting students, faculty, and staff with technical questions.
What you'll do#
- Answer incoming calls at the Help Desk.
- Log tickets in the support system.
- Set up and install computer equipment and software across campus.
- Help users with basic computer operation.
- Maintain equipment by cleaning hardware and replacing printer toner.
- Move equipment between buildings and keep accurate inventory records.
- Assist the Telecommunications team with wiring and other technical projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled student at Delaware Valley University.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States.
- You need a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart.
- You must be able to lift 25 pounds or more and carry monitors, computers, and printers.
- Previous computer experience is recommended, though we will provide training for all job functions.

- This role is located on-site in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
- This is a part-time position with rolling start dates.
- The pay rate is $10 per hour.
- The work involves sitting at a desk for extended periods.
