About the role#
The DVU Dairy facility is looking for students to join our team for hands-on work. You will help with the daily operations required to run the facility. This role is part-time, typically requiring 15 to 20 hours per week with one weekend shift per month. We offer a flexible schedule to accommodate your classes.
What you'll do#
- Mix and distribute feed for various animal groups.
- Clean and maintain animal bedding areas.
- Help with herd health care tasks.
- Keep the facility clean and tidy.
- Handle landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and flower bed care.
- Assist with general facility upkeep and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled student at Delaware Valley University.
- You must have authorization to work in the United States.
- Some previous farm or animal experience is preferred but not required.
- You should be comfortable working in environments that involve dust, noise, outdoor weather, and animal care tasks.
- The role requires physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting items weighing 25 lbs or more.

- This is an on-site, paid position.
