About the role#
Delaware Valley University is hiring a student worker to assist the Athletics Department at the James Work Gym. This position involves manual labor and support for various athletic programs. You will work on-site in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Manage daily practice laundry, primarily during the evenings.
- Wash, dry, and organize athletic gear and uniforms.
- Handle laundry tasks for game days as needed.
- Set up and break down the gymnasium for volleyball, basketball, and wrestling events.
- Assist with field maintenance, including dragging and raking for basketball.
- Support set up and breakdown for women's lacrosse practices.
- Greet JV and varsity football officials for home games.
- Assist with various tasks across the athletic department as requested.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Delaware Valley University.
- Authorization to work in the United States with valid documentation.
- An updated resume.
- Reliability and dependability in your work habits.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, or stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more frequently.

- Location: Doylestown, PA.

- Compensation: $10 per hour.
- Schedule: Rolling term, includes outdoor work and potential on-call requirements.
