About the role#
The Roth Farm Student Worker provides care for livestock and assists with general farm operations. You will follow established procedures while adapting to the daily needs of the farm. This is a paid, on-site position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Care for livestock housed at the farm.
- Perform fieldwork for vegetables, small fruit, and agronomic row crops.
- Operate farm equipment and assist in the retail farm market.
- Repair buildings and maintain farm facilities and equipment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Delaware Valley University.
- A valid driver license.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Reliability and a willingness to learn new tasks.
Location & details#
- Location: Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
- Work environment: This role involves outdoor work, exposure to weather, dust, and machinery. Physical requirements include lifting, standing, walking, and using tools requiring high dexterity. You may be exposed to animals, odors, and chemicals.
