About the role#
This is an 8-month co-op placement for the Winter 2027 term. You will work within the Personal Insurance division, supporting strategic initiatives and collaborating with technology and business partners. This is a full-time, paid position that offers a hybrid work environment.
What you'll do#
- Liaise with technology and business partners to define problem statements and objectives.
- Create and maintain intake requests using JIRA and ServiceNow.
- Provide quarterly strategic planning support and consolidate support requests.
- Chair meetings, distribute minutes, and organize Community of Practice lunch and learns.
- Chair agile ceremonies within Platform Engineering teams.
- Monitor service dashboards and update Technology Business Partners on emerging issues.
- Assist with quality engineering tasks and manage release management tickets.
- Maintain team Confluence pages and update executive PowerPoint presentations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Strong practical familiarity with generative AI tools, including prompt engineering basics and corporate capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with personal accountability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical aptitude and a desire to learn new systems.
- Experience in a technology solution or Agile/Scrum environment is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365, MS Teams, JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow is an asset.

- Compensation: Starts at $22.50 per hour, subject to adjustment based on skills, education, and experience.
- Requirement: Successful clearance of a background check, including criminal checks and leadership references.
