About the role#
This internship provides exposure to the daily work of a business analyst within a software development team. You will research business processes, define stakeholder needs, and recommend solutions. You will also assist with maintaining product backlogs, managing team schedules, and performing quality assurance. Beyond development tasks, you may take on non-development projects as needed.
What you'll do#
- Write code using agreed-upon languages and follow department programming standards.
- Participate in daily scrum and planning meetings.
- Create and maintain project documentation.
- Test and debug solutions to ensure they meet requirements.
- Collaborate with team leaders to determine how to achieve project goals.
- Act as a product owner for specific functional areas or applications.
- Perform all duties in a professional and ethical manner.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Ability to learn quickly and solve problems through critical thinking.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English.
- At least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, and programming languages is a plus.

- This is an on-site role based in Dayton, Ohio.
- The position is full-time and paid.
- This is a rolling internship.
