About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist with patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and inventory management. This role focuses on delivering care to patients and supporting the pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Participate in patient care programs to help customers and patients manage their health.
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Foster a team culture that values energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Align team members around the purpose of health care.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Once state regulations are met, you will work toward providing patient immunizations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

- Location: Elkridge, Maryland.
- This is a part-time, on-site position.
- The role is paid and follows a rolling term.
