About the role#
This is a 10.5-week full-time internship within the CVS Health Internal Audit Department. You will work alongside experienced auditors to conduct independent assurance and consulting activities. The program runs from May 24, 2027, to August 4, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform and document audit activities following professional standards and company methodology.
- Execute testing and create work paper documentation.
- Meet with colleagues across the enterprise to understand and document business processes.
- Analyze and validate information based on defined test programs.
- Maintain a commitment to integrity and the company code of conduct.
- Support team norms to promote a positive and effective work environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program with an anticipated completion date between December 2027 and June 2028, or participation in a 3+1 or 4+1 Master's program.
- Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or Health Service.
- Ability to work full time for the duration of the program.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to maintain spreadsheets and perform moderately complex functions.
- Interest in pursuing a full-time position with CVS Health after graduation.
Location & details#
- Locations: Hartford, CT; Northbrook, IL; Cumberland, RI; or Scottsdale, AZ.
- Schedule: Hybrid, typically 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
- Compensation: $26 per hour.
- Note: This position does not offer work visa sponsorship.
