About the role#
This is a part-time, on-site internship based in Columbus, Indiana. The role is designed to support your school schedule, with a maximum of 19 hours per week. It is open to students who are at least 16 years old and currently enrolled in high school or post-secondary school, with a preference for those pursuing a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science.
What you'll do#
- Ensure reliable data acquisition by maintaining and troubleshooting systems such as Cyflex, Calterm, and Indicom.
- Maintain sensor accuracy through regular calibration and verification to provide trustworthy data for engineering teams.
- Support engine testing operations by performing mechanical tasks like engine installation and removal.
- Optimize test cell equipment by configuring setups to maintain smooth operations and minimize downtime.
- Monitor emissions and performance metrics, including particulate matter and exhaust data, using tools like AVL, Horiba, and FTIR.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to validate designs and align testing activities with project timelines.
