About the role#
Cubic Secure Comms is seeking a Systems Electrical Engineering Intern to assist in the development, testing, and sustainment of RF communication systems. This role provides hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, laboratory testing, and circuit design within a collaborative team.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineers with the integration, validation, and testing of RF communication systems.
- Perform laboratory measurements using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.
- Support the troubleshooting of analog, digital, and RF hardware issues.
- Collect and analyze test data, document findings, and prepare technical reports.
- Participate in basic RF and electrical circuit design tasks.
- Assist with prototype assembly, performance evaluations, and verification.
- Follow established engineering processes, quality requirements, and documentation standards.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A basic understanding of circuit theory, electronics, and RF communications.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and laboratory test equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- An ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- An eagerness to contribute to secure communications solutions.
