About the role#
As an Electrical Hardware Engineering Intern, you will work on projects critical to our High Performance Computing and AI Infrastructure teams. You will collaborate with experienced hardware engineers and development partners to create solutions for low to moderately-complex products. Throughout the program, you will receive mentorship from a senior engineer to help guide your technical approach and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate engineering solutions for electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms.
- Carry out established test plans for existing designs, including validation of thermal generation, system power, safety, and electromagnetic interference.
- Contribute to the development of reliable and cost-effective hardware solutions.
- Participate in project team activities alongside internal and outsourced partners.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with at least three years of university completed.
- Experience or understanding of electrical design tools and software packages.
- Knowledge of design principles for electronic components, integrated circuitry, and algorithms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong interest in high-tech and a desire to learn.
