About the role#
The Marketing & Sales Project Intern assists our teams with advertising, promotions, and client pursuits. You will report to the Creative Services Manager and work closely with the Vice President of National Sales. This role involves a mix of administrative tasks, sales enablement, and support for lead generation. You will also participate in training opportunities to learn about our operations.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Create written, video, and image content for marketing channels.
- Measure and report on the results of marketing initiatives.
- Join marketing brainstorming sessions.
- Help organize internal and external events.
- Conduct research on clients, the industry, and competitors.
- Update sales documents and maintain our HubSpot CRM.
- Complete various clerical and administrative duties.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- A solid grasp of basic marketing principles.
- Proficiency with word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a dependable, personable attitude.
- Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
- Must live in Kalamazoo County.
Location & details#
This is a paid, full-time internship based on-site in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The position follows a rolling term.
