About the role#
This internship provides college students with an 8-10 week development experience. You will explore the insurance industry and the structure of the organization to understand how different entities contribute to overall success. The program focuses on building your business insight and leadership skills while you work alongside experienced teammates.
What you'll do#
- Learn about insurance, industry workflows, and various organizational divisions.
- Gain analytical, technical, and decision-making skills through formal and informal learning.
- Complete special projects that assist your department in its mission.
- Finish all prescribed training requirements.
- Network with senior leaders, teammates, and other interns to build professional connections.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a data-related field.
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products.
