    About the role#

    This co-op position offers students the chance to learn how to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment. You will work alongside a maintenance team to support production goals while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Support production maintenance on all machines to keep downtime low.
    • Read schematics, diagrams, and work orders to determine assembly sequences.
    • Use precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions and ensure they meet specifications.
    • Establish and maintain inventory, records, and documentation systems.
    • Handle, store, and label hazardous waste in compliance with federal and state regulations.
    • Inspect parts for defects and use hand or power tools to assemble components.
    • Consult with technicians and machinists regarding equipment design specifications.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment at a technical high school.
    • Minimum age of 16 years.
    • A grade average of C or better.
    • Proficiency in written and verbal English.
    • Ability to follow all safety policies, including wearing electrical rated safety shoes.
    • Ability to lift or move up to 15 pounds.
