About the role#
The Old Dominion Group offers a paid, full-time summer internship for the 2027 season. This 8 to 10 week program places you within our project management teams. You will gain exposure to estimating, field operations, business development, and finance while working on specialty contracting services.
What you'll do#
- Complete construction submittals and send them to the Project Manager for approval.
- Conduct specification reviews and take-offs.
- Assist with reviewing project schedules and communicating key dates.
- Perform onsite project walks and update the project tracker weekly.
- Work with the Project Manager to price change orders and maintain the change order log.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university, specifically in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Ability to read and navigate construction blueprints, plans, and project specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other standard computer applications.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- This is an on-site, full-time role for the summer of 2027.
