About the role#
The RDM Planning Co-op supports the Regional Delivery Management team by managing customer orders and inventory availability. You will make data-based allocation decisions to ensure the Distribution Center ships products accurately and on time. This role involves balancing service levels, inventory, and routing requirements to meet company objectives.
What you'll do#
- Review open customer orders and allocate available inventory to meet shipping deadlines.
- Analyze data regarding orders, inventory, shortages, and back-in-stock dates to determine allocation actions.
- Monitor orders approaching required ship dates to identify risks and escalate issues.
- Communicate allocation decisions, shortages, and date issues to Customer Service and Planning partners.
- Maintain accurate system data and complete daily tasks within established timelines.
- Support month-end and peak-volume execution.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor degree program in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or Operations Management.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to review large data sets.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including lookups, sorting, filtering, and formulas.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily deadlines.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Sanford, North Carolina.
- The role is a rolling term.
