About the role#
Consumers Energy is collecting resumes for engineering internship and co-op opportunities. These roles support various areas of the business, including electric engineering, gas engineering, and energy operations. This program is designed to complement classroom instruction through skill development and knowledge application.
What you'll do#
- Provide hands-on support for engineering design and development projects.
- Work alongside full-time employees to carry out daily engineering functions.
- Participate in optional intern networking events and company tours.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 2.7 or higher.
- Ability to work on-site at an assigned Michigan location.
- Eligible majors include Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, and Environmental Engineering.
Location & details#
- Locations: Various sites across Michigan.
- Terms: Summer 2027, Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Spring 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Note: This position is paid and requires full-time commitment. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
