About the role#
The Automotive Packaging Engineer Intern supports the development, validation, and implementation of packaging solutions for automotive components and assemblies. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams to design packaging that protects products throughout the supply chain.
What you'll do#
- Create fleet calculators, inventory records, and asset tracking data for container assets.
- Support fleet inventory audits to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Track repair and maintenance activities and maintain related documentation.
- Monitor container condition and identify assets that need repair or replacement.
- Compile and analyze fleet, inventory, and maintenance data to support operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and materials teams on fleet management projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or Operations Management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, basic formulas, and spreadsheet management.
- Analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support reporting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
