    About the role#

    This is a PRN Student Rad Tech position based in Statesboro, Georgia. You will work on-site to gain clinical experience while enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures under the direct supervision of a registered Radiologic Technologist.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform radiologic examinations while following imaging protocols and ensuring proper patient identification.
    • Position patients and select technical factors to capture diagnostic images.
    • Communicate with patients to provide instructions and support their comfort during procedures.
    • Follow department standards for radiation safety, infection control, and the use of personal protective equipment.
    • Document procedures in health systems and enter charges as required.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Seek guidance from technologists and clinical instructors to build your technical skills.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
    • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
    • Up to one year of clinical experience.
    • Familiarity with electronic health records and basic computer literacy.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
