About the role#
This position is a part-time Research Student Assistant role based in the Sharma lab at the Simpson Querrey Biomedical Research Center. We are looking for individuals interested in gaining experience in a hospital research setting. This role is paid and follows a rolling application term.
What you'll do#
- Follow research protocols as directed.
- Collect, record, and organize research data.
- Maintain accurate records of all data collection activities.
- Perform other project-specific duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively during face-to-face interactions with research staff, physicians, and administrative staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Enrollment in or interest in fields such as Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Psychology, or Computer Science is preferred.
