About the role#
Bank Operations acts as the operational backbone of the bank by supporting the processing, execution, and settlement of transactions. This rotational internship offers exposure to three or more areas within the Bank Operations Division. You will gain hands-on experience in analytics, reporting, process improvement, and project management while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals. The internship is a paid, full-time position lasting 11 weeks from May 18, 2027, to July 30, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to develop reports, dashboards, and operational insights.
- Support reporting, process improvement, and project initiatives.
- Monitor and communicate KPIs and performance metrics.
- Assist with compliance reviews, user access administration, and system support.
- Research and resolve operational and account-related issues.
- Collaborate across teams to improve processes and operational effectiveness.
- Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field.
- Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in Operations Leadership, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and business process management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships.
- Ability to remain adaptable and resilient.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- Location: Kansas City, Missouri.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Modality: Hybrid or on-site, with a minimum of two days required on-site per week.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
