About the role#
CNH is hiring a Software Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. You will work as part of a team to support software development projects and gain hands-on experience in the machinery manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Write, develop, evaluate, and document new or modified software programs.
- Test software applications and prepare them for installation.
- Provide business support by analyzing software requirements.
- Troubleshoot software issues and provide training for end users.
- Research and select technical data relevant to your assigned projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to communicate engineering requirements.
- Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations.
- Participate in department improvement activities.
- Learn and promote the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
- Perform related duties as needed and support company culture.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, specifically in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Strong technical skills and proficiencies in your field of support.
- Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
