About the role#
The Purchasing & Strategic Sourcing Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting our purchasing organization. You will develop an understanding of procurement, supplier management, and strategic sourcing while working with cross-functional teams. This role is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist buyers with day-to-day purchasing tasks.
- Support sourcing initiatives by analyzing supplier performance, pricing, and market conditions.
- Conduct market testing and research to evaluate alternative sources and competitive conditions.
- Gather, organize, and analyze purchasing data.
- Identify trends, cost savings, and areas for improvement in business performance.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled college student.
- You must be actively pursuing a degree, at minimum a Bachelor's degree.
- Preferred fields of study include Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration.

- Location: Oak Brook, Illinois.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
