About the role#
The Precision Technology / Digital Solutions Field Support Intern will work with the Field Technical Support team to deploy and validate next-generation agriculture technologies. You will gain hands-on experience with connected machine systems, telematics, and digital agronomy platforms while contributing to the launch of new products.
What you'll do#
- Install, set up, and commission precision agriculture hardware and software on production and retrofit equipment.
- Support field deployment for beta and pre-production farming solutions at customer and dealer sites.
- Monitor machine performance and system health using connected vehicle and diagnostic platforms.
- Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, connectivity, GPS/GNSS, displays, and vehicle networks.
- Collect and analyze field observations, software logs, machine telemetry, and customer feedback.
- Assist engineering and product teams in reproducing and resolving field issues.
- Create technical documentation, including installation guides, troubleshooting procedures, and deployment reports.
- Support training activities for customers and dealers regarding new technology.
- Travel to customer sites, dealerships, and agricultural operations for testing and evaluation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program.
- Pursuit of at least an Associates or Technical degree.

- Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20.34 per hour.
