About the role#
The North America Crop Harvesting Validation team in New Holland, PA, manages the testing of combines and headers. You will work with experienced test engineers to evaluate machine performance, diagnose malfunctions, and suggest design improvements. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience with equipment operation while contributing to product improvement projects.
What you'll do#
- Learn the functional operation of combines and headers and how subsystems interact.
- Assist with machine performance evaluations, diagnose malfunctions, and recommend improvements.
- Operate combines in the field during harvest and on test tracks.
- Support lab tests for component and subsystem validation.
- Create daily logs, problem reports, and test reports within company systems.
- Travel to field locations to support validation activities.
- Assist in prototype builds, part installation, and test preparations.
- Collaborate in a team-focused environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program as an undergraduate or post-graduate student.
- Pursuing a degree in Agricultural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
