About the role#
The Driveline Engineering team in Oak Brook designs and develops transmissions and axles for tractor and harvesting equipment. As an intern, you will work on both current production and next-generation systems. This role offers hands-on experience with the design, modeling, and analysis of driveline components while contributing to projects that impact actual products.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design, integration, and application of driveline components for tractor and harvesting programs.
- Support transmission architecture development activities.
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings in Pro-E for parts and component assemblies.
- Perform stress and life calculations to confirm that systems meet performance requirements.
- Troubleshoot and solve engineering problems with guidance from the team.
- Collaborate with engineers to support production and new product development.
- Travel to the Racine manufacturing plant or Racine Lakeside test facility to support design validation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student.
- Pursuit of at least a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, or a related field.
