About the role#
This co-op position supports the Innovation group in Goodfield, Illinois. You will work alongside engineers to build, test, and evaluate new concepts for large tractors and crop production equipment. This is a full-time role for the summer and fall of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare prototype machines for field testing by installing components, fabricating parts, and performing maintenance.
- Change equipment configurations to support testing requirements.
- Collaborate with the project team to test and validate experimental designs.
- Operate prototype test machines in the field to execute test plans.
- Review field test results and share ideas for concept development with your team.
- Support the Agronomy team by operating test machines for trials, collecting data, and performing analysis.
- Travel to other facilities and remote test sites as needed to assist with test preparation.
- Attend meetings to provide input on project updates.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, preferably in Mechanical, Computer, or Electrical Engineering, or Agriculture.

- Compensation: $23.69 to $25.75 per hour.
