    About the role#

    The Cotton Engineering team at CNH supports new product development and manages current product lines by addressing challenges from customers and factories. As an intern, you will work alongside engineers as a full team member. You will gain hands-on experience with the product lifecycle of cotton harvesters, from root cause analysis to design and implementation.

    What you'll do#

    • Prepare designs, layouts, and drawings for specific product elements.
    • Apply engineering techniques while considering manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
    • Perform engineering calculations to determine part sizes, strengths, and solve design challenges.
    • Support prototype builds and draft change requests, requisitions, work orders, parts lists, and test requests.
    • Assist with laboratory and product evaluations to validate design performance.
    • Resolve functional and mechanical problems on assigned subsystems.
    • Learn and apply engineering standards, ISO procedures, and work instructions.
    • Gain proficiency in CAD (Pro-E) and engineering data management systems.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a college degree program.
    • Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Engineering, or a related field.

    • Location: Mount Joy, Iowa.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $19.57 - $27.81 per hour.
