About the role#
As an Embedded Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the development of firmware for GNSS and GPS receivers. You will work on software testability, command handling, and device driver implementation within an RTOS environment.
What you'll do#
- Write, maintain, and test C++ code for embedded RTOS systems.
- Create scripts to process and analyze collected log data.
- Test GNSS receiver operation in a lab setting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, functionality, or stability.
- Perform control system analysis or simulation.
- Assist with other related duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience with C and C++.
- Familiarity with any of the following is helpful: embedded C/C++ development, signal processing algorithms, RF modulation, linear algebra, control system theory, assembly programming, RTOS design, RF circuit design, Python for data analysis, or test automation.

- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
