About the role#
The IT Service Desk Intern role at CNA offers a chance to combine technical skills with writing to improve our IT operations. You will support our internal users by troubleshooting issues and answering technical questions. This position is based on-site in Arlington, Virginia, for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Provide first-level support to internal users.
- Resolve technical queries and troubleshoot issues.
- Draft and refine Standard Operating Procedures for IT service delivery.
- Conduct research and analyze data for assigned projects.
- Assist internal stakeholders with project goals and deliverables.
- Provide general communications and logistical support, including scheduling and note taking.
- Perform other general duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a junior or final year of a bachelor’s degree program, or enrollment in a graduate program.
- Field of study in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and organizational abilities.
- Security Plus certification is preferred.
- Undergraduate coursework and relevant experience are preferred.
