About the role#
Clean Power Alliance is looking for a Board Operations Intern to support the Clerk team. This role provides exposure to public agency operations and local government processes. You will assist with day-to-day Board functions and contribute to administrative and technology projects. This is a paid, part-time, and temporary position.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative, operational, and project support to the Clerk team.
- Assist the Clerk of the Board with daily operations.
- Maintain records and handle document organization.
- Assist with technology initiatives and process improvement projects.
- Participate in organizational activities that support Board functions.
- Contribute to special projects including SharePoint modernization and meeting optimization.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate junior or senior, or a first-year graduate student.
- Preferred academic focus in Public Administration, Political Science, Public Policy, Business Administration, Government, or Library and Information Science.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new technology platforms.
- Ability to work with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Prior internship or part-time work experience in a relevant field is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles, California.
- You are expected to be in the office 2 to 3 days per week.
- Interns must be available to work during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm PST.
- Pay ranges from $24.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
